Why choose a 3-piece over a 2-piece?
Splitting the barrel into two halves gives the widest range of widths and offsets and lets every part be finished separately. It also makes repairs simpler.

Are 3-piece wheels good for daily driving?
Yes. Forged 3-piece wheels are built for the street. Check hardware torque periodically, as with any multi-piece wheel.
